Ripper Street, the new Dublin-shot BBC thriller series focusing on the aftermath of the Jack the Ripper murders in London, begins on BBC One on Sunday December 30, and RTÉ TEN went behind the scenes during filming.

The series, which stars Matthew Macfadyen, Jerome Flynn, Adam Rothenberg, MyAnna Buring and Irish actors Charlene McKenna and David Wilmot, focuses on "the notorious H Division - the police precinct from hell - which is charged with keeping order in the chaotic streets of Whitechapel".

Filmed in Clancy Barracks and other locations in Dublin, RTÉ TEN visited the set of Ripper Street and you can watch the video, and hear from the cast and crew, by clicking the link on your left.
