The original line-up of the all girl pop group Atomic Kitten has reunited for a TV project.

Digital Spy reports that the trio of Kerry Katona, Natasha Hamilton and Liz McClarnon were spotted yesterday outside a recording studio with a camera crew in Liverpool.

There was no sign of Katona’s replacement in the group, Jenny Frost, so it is not clear if she is part of the project. Katona left the band in 2001 after becoming pregnant and just as the group were enjoying great success with their single Whole Again. Frost joined the band as her replacement.

Frost is currently pregnant with twins.

Atomic Kitten is just one of the groups taking part in the ITV2 show The Big Reunion next year. Also featuring will be B*witched, 5ive, Liberty X and 911.

The move follows the success of the Sky Living series Steps: The Reunion which saw the that pop group reunite and decide to release and album and tour again.
