Director Quentin Tarantino has hinted he could retire within the next 10 years as he doesn't want be an old filmmaker.
The 49-year-old director admitted that he doesn't want to become an ''old'' helmer because filmmakers don't improve as they grow older.
Speaking to Playboy magazine, Tarantino, said: ''I just don't want to be an old man filmmaker. I want to stop at a certain point. Directors don't get better as they get older.
''Usually the worst films in their filmography are those last four at the end. I am all about my filmography, and one bad film f**ks up three good ones.
''But if I stop at 10, that would be okay as an artistic statement.''
Django Unchained is released next month.
