The Rolling Stones have played a surprise gig in Paris, after announcing the concert on Twitter.

The band played to 350 fans on October 25 for almost an hour and a half, marking their first concert since 2007.

Mick Jagger joked: "I can't believe we're all still standing up. You'd think by now one or two of us would be sitting down, but we're not."

Tickets to the event at the Le Trabendo club in Paris cost €15 and sold out in minutes.

The band played hit such as Brown Sugar, It's Only Rock and Roll, Miss You and Route 66.
