Dublin Zoo is celebrating the arrival of twin red panda cubs, the second set of twins in a year for mum and dad Angelina and Chota.

The female twins were born in June, but Dublin Zoo says sightings were rare because the sisters only came out of their den at night.

Team Leader Eddie O'Brien said, "Red pandas are endangered in the wild so we are over the moon that this is the second litter born at Dublin Zoo within a year.

"They are both doing very well and getting more adventurous and confident as they can now be seen exploring their habitat during the day."
