Rihanna has pushed back the premiere of her new single.

The Disturbia singer was expected to debut the lead track from her upcoming seventh studio album yesterday, but has now delayed the launch until the end of the week.

Benjamin Galouye, a music programmer at French radio station NRJ, said: "We were notified that #Rihanna and her staff decided to delay her new single. It should premiere later this week."

Sia Furler, who is said to have penned the song for Rihanna, later tweeted: "Next Monday should feel pretty good."

Meanwhile, Rihanna is nominated in six categories for the MTV Europe Music Awards, which will take place at the Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany on Sunday, November 11.
