An all-star series of Strictly Come Dancing could be on the cards according to a report.

The Sun quotes a BBC talent executive as saying such a series is a possibility. The very popular celebrity talent show returns to BBC One later this month.

Daisy Moore said "We're on our tenth series now, we've had ten champions. Every person who gets to the final, they're all brilliant by that stage."

She added "So you could easily have a retrospective programme, and I think the audience would love that."

The US version of Strictly, Dancing With The Stars, is set to run an All-stars season of the show on ABC this autumn.

Last year Strictly was won by Harry Judd and professional dance partner Aliona Vilani and previous winners include Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon, cricketers Darren Gough and Mark Ramprakash and former Holby City actor Tom Chambers.

The show is back on Saturday, September 15.
