Tom Jones and Jessie J will not be returning to The Voice UK for a second series.

Jessie J is said to have quit the show as the filming for the new series clash with her upcoming UK tour, according to the Daily Mail.

The first series’ winning mentor, Welsh singer Tom Jones, is also believed to have decided not to return to the panel.

It is reported that his manager advised him against signing up for another series.

Meanwhile, earlier today The Sun quoted Jones as aying that he would return for a second series of The Voice.

Jones said: "I think I will do another series. We are talking about it now. But there are a couple of things that need to be ironed out.

"One of the things I said I need to know is who the other coaches are, because I don't want to be sitting there with somebody that I don't admire or particularly like . . . there are a few of them!

"Hopefully, we will have the same four coaches."

BBC producers are now said to be holding crisis talks to try and turn the show's bad ratings and judging panel around.
