She’s due in town next week but already Madonna's current world tour has made a good start at the box office.
She made $49.5 million from 417,448 tickets during the first 11 dates of her MDNA tour, which started in Tel Aviv last May.
Her show at the Ramat Gan Stadium in the Israeli city attracted a crowd of 33,457 people on May 31, accumulating revenue topping $4.3m, according to Billboard.
Lady GaGa's Born This Way Ball has landed at number two on the live tour list, after she grossed $23.6m in ticket sales from the Oceania leg during June.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez's first ever world tour grossed $1.7m after selling 20,352 in June and Iron Maiden raked in $1.5m for their shows in the US.
However, they’ve all some way to go before they beat U2’s world record tally of $736,421,586 for their 360º Tour between 2009 and 2011.
