Ed Sheeran would like his movie debut to be in Skagboys, a gritty prequel to the movie Trainspotting.
The British singer/songwriter, who achieved huge success with his debut album + wants to show fans a different side to him.
Sheeran would like to act in an adaption of Irvine Welsh’s book Skagboys which tells of how the main characters from the 1996 movie Trainspotting became drug addicts.
He told The Sun, "If I ever did anything, I'd love to do something like Skagboys, a gritty Brit flick. Because I'm a bit clean cut and a bit smiley, it would be good to do something very out of the ordinary.
"I did National Youth Theatre (in London) when I was 16. I can hold a tune but my acting is not quite up to the same standard yet."
