Kristen Stewart has been named the highest paid actress in Hollywood.

The Twilight star came out top in this year's Forbes list for best-paid actresses, due to earnings from blockbusters such as Breaking Dawn Part 1 and Snow White and the Huntsman.

The 22-year-old has earned $12.5 million for each of the five Twilight Saga films, as well as a cut of the earnings.

Stewart has made an estimated $34.5 million between May 2011 and May 2012.

Cameron Diaz came second in the list, with an estimated $34 million, while Sandra Bullock came in third place with $25 million.

Angelina Jolie, who topped last year’s list along with Sarah Jessica Parker, dropped to the fourth spot with earnings of $20 million.

Stewart's Snow White and the Huntsman co-star Charlize Theron, who also starred in Ridley Scott's Prometheus, rounded off the top five with $18 million.
