EastEnders star Shona McGarty, who plays Whitney in the soap, was ordered to leave an Asda supermarket after making a scene in the store.
The actress was with her boyfriend and co-star Matt Lapinskas (Anthony Moon) when they were spotted throwing food around.
The pair were subsequently escorted from the premises by security and told not to return to the Watford branch unless their behaviour improved.
"It was disgusting. The man was opening up pots and looked as if he was throwing it around," a witness told The Sun.
"Then the girl started to smear it over herself in a suggestive manner.
"I had my kids aged ten and nine with me and they certainly don't need to see that in the shopping aisles of Asda."
A spokesperson for the store made light of the incident, but confirmed that it took place.
"This isn't us being Albert squares. As with any customer found to be causing a ruckus in our stores, we politely asked the culprits to leave so they didn't offend other shoppers."
