Angelina Jolie's pose as she presented an Oscar on Sunday night has led to the actress being ridiculed online.
The star was handing over the Best Adapted Screenplay Award when she clearly re-adjusted her stance, bending a leg out to one side to reveal as much of the limb through the slit of her gown as possible
She had struck a similar pose earlier on the red carpet.
The look was immediately copied by The Descendants screenplay writers Nat Faxon and Jim Rash, as they took to the stage to receive the award from Jolie.
Sky news reports that Jolie's leg has become a popular topic on Twitter, receiving an account of its own, AngiesRightLeg, and tweeting: "Left leg and I talked -- everything's cool.
"Next Oscars, she gets the slit."
It has over 26,000 followers.
Jennifer Lopez has also had a Twitter account opened in honour of a reported wardrobe malfunction.
The account was set up after the singer-turned-actress' sequined dress apparently revealed more than it was meant to when presenting an award with Cameron Diaz.
Lopez's stylist, Mariel Haenn, however, has released a statement denying the reports.
She said: "The dress fit perfectly to her every inch.
"There were cups built in and there's no chance that there were any, how do you say, 'slips'.
"While the dress did give the illusion of sheerness, (the) joke's on everyone who wishes they saw something."
