Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Josh Duhamel are joining the growing list of actors who are not returning for Transformers 4.

Hungtington-Whiteley joined the franchise the third film, Dark of the Moon, replacing Megan Fox as Shia LaBeouf’s love interest.

However according to The Mirror’s source: "Rosie enjoyed being in the third film but action's not really her bag.

"She doesn't want to get typecast."

Although series director Michael Bay has confirmed that he is on board for the new film, as far as the actors go, Duhamel has said: "I don't think anybody’s doing it. I know Shia LaBeouf is not doing it. I don’t think Tyrese Gibson or Rosie or anybody else is doing it."

Jason Statham has been tipped to take over as the new lead however according to reports, he recently claimed that he has not yet been offered a part.

Transformers 4 is expected to be released in the summer of 2014.
