The National TV Awards took place last night in London's O2 Arena with a bevy of stars hitting the red carpet with many attracting attention for the wrong reasons.

Tulisa Contostavlos led the charge of over-the-top glamour in a hot pink feathered number, excessive fake tan and shiny silver heels. Despite her fashion disaster, the X Factor judge was elated when the reality show was named Best Talent Show beating off competition from Strictly and Britain's Got Talent.

Meanwhile during the ceremony which was hosted by Dermot O'Leary, the cast and producers of Coronation Street celebrated beating their rivals EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks to the prize for best serial drama.

Other winners on the night included Doctor Who stars Karen Gillan and Matt Smith both picked up acting awards and chat show host Jonathan Ross who received a special recognition award for his 25 years on screen. He said he was "humbled" to receive the honour, adding: "I'm amazed, like so many of you are, that I'm still working."

She may have scooped the award for Best Talent Show for her role on X Factor but Tulisa is definitely taking our worst dressed award for this hot pink mess!

Also attracting attention on the red carpet was Lorraine Kelly, who flew the flag for Scotland in a full-skirted tartan dress.

Blush pink was a popular theme on the red carpet, with Amy Childs, Sam Faiers, Michelle Collins all sporting the shade in addition to Carol Vorderman who was spilling out of her dress.
