Demi Moore is seeking professional treatment for "exhaustion" and "overall health issues" according to her spokeswoman.
The actress had been rushed to hospital on Monday night after paramedics were called to her Los Angeles home following a 911 call.
"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health,” Moore's spokeswoman said yesterday in a written statement to Reuters. “She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."
Moore split from her husband of six years, Ashton Kutcher, late last year and was due to start work on the new bio-pic of Hollywood porn star, Linda Lovelace. However Entertainment Weekly reports that the 49-year-old has pulled out of the project in which she was to play women’s rights activist, Gloria Steinem.
