David Cross has said that the Arrested Development cast are very excited to be reuniting.

Arrested Development creator Mitchell Hurwitz confirmed in October that Cross, Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and the rest of the show's stars will appear in several new episodes plus a feature film.

In an interview with Indie Wire, Cross, who plays Tobias in the comedy series, said that the whole cast are "verbally commited" to a reunion: "No-one doesn't want to do it, everyone's excited.”

The actor went on to say that he has no idea yet what the storyline for the Arrested Development film will be: "I'm not part of the writing process. We're still several months away from getting scripts."

Bateman and narrator Ron Howard have both credited Arrested Development's fans with reviving the series and called on them to keep campaigning for its return.
