The Only Way Is Essex stars Mark Wright and Lauren Goodger have reportedly ended their engagement.

The couple became engaged during filming of the TV3/ITV2 reality show's second season earlier this year, but are now believed to have called time on their ten-year romance.

Goodger has moved out of the couple's flat in the wake of the split, while Wright has escaped his relationship troubles by jetting off on a trip to Marbella, according to The Sun.

A spokesperson for Wright stated: "He has no comment, except to confirm it is over."

Goodger sparked rumours of her single status last month after she was spotted in public without her engagement ring.

She and Wright were said to be feuding over reports that he cheated on her with ex-girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh earlier in the summer.

"Pals thought this time the relationship would go the distance but it hasn't," a source commented.

Goodger and Wright have repeatedly denied accusations that their engagement was faked for the show, despite claims from several of their Only Way Is Essex co-stars that the couple never intended to marry.
