Actor Charlie Sheen has revealed that he is delighted Ashton Kutcher took over his role on Two and a Half Men.

The star told entertainment website TMZ that he would have never kick-started his career, if he hadn’t left the show.

According to Sheen, the upcoming funeral of his character adds a bit of closure for him.

He said: “I have always been told that I have 9 lives, so it is going to be amazing to witness my own funeral which is clearly a win/win situation because Ashton has just given me a 10th."

The website also reports news of Sheen’s new TV project, which will be based on the film Anger Management.

This comes after it was confirmed last week that Ashton Kutcher will play the character of Walden Schmidt on Two and a Half Men, an internet billionaire with a broken heart.
