Kirsten Dunst has spoken of her new love after suffering the lows of her break-up with Razorlight's Johnny Borrell.

Speaking to Elle magazine about her new partner, musician Jason Boesel she said: "He is not into partying and it works. We have similar schedules: long periods of time off and periods of mad work."

She added: "When I’ve finished work, I travel to be with him. It’s special."

The 29-year-old, who won a best actress award at Cannes for her film Melancholia, hit rock bottom after her split with Borrell in 2008.

She said: "We all want the bad guy who doesn’t give you what you want. I did a lot of sitting in my car, listening to sad music, crying over boys."

Kirsten is currently shooting an upcoming movie adaption of the famous Jack Kerouac novel On the Road alongside Kristen Stewart, Sam Riley, Garrett Hedlund and Viggo Mortensen.

Dunst stated: "I know how big it is. Every time I’ve been on the set, I’ve thought, This is On the Road'.
