Gwyneth Paltrow has allegedly pulled out of 'Glee' star Matthew Morrison's US tour due to constant rumours of an affair between the two.

The actor, who plays Will Schuester in the hit show is believed to have asked his friend and occasional co-star, Paltrow, to open several dates of his upcoming stateside tour.

However, The Mail On Sunday reports that Paltrow turned down the offer as she felt it was "bad for her image" in the wake of speculation about the pair's relationship status.

A source explained: "Gwyneth thought it would be bad for her image to go off on a US tour. She pulled out and Matthew has cancelled a number of his gigs."

"But he is still planning to come to London in June and they have plans to go out to dinner. She's not ruling out performing with him in the future."

However, Paltrow's spokesperson has since claimed: "There are no plans for her to tour with Matthew. There were requests for her to perform at a few events but nothing was ever confirmed."

Paltrow hinted this month that she may join Morrison and the rest of the 'Glee' cast for the UK leg of their live tour.
