Gwyneth Paltrow reveals that she had to do more preparation for her role in ‘Country Strong’ than for any other role she has played.

Gwyneth Paltrow stars in ‘Country Strong’ as an alcoholic country singer trying to resurrect her career. The 38-year-old award-winning actress who, according to Contact Music, doesn’t normally like watching herself onscreen, has said that she is very proud to have played this role.

Paltrow revealed; “Last night, when I was watching the film, I thought, this is the best job I've ever done.”

She continued; “Normally I can't stand to see myself but with this film, I felt like it all came together, all that hard work and putting myself in such an uncomfortable position where I felt so scared of how I was going to do it. I'm happy with how it turned out.”

Paltrow, who has two children, Apple, 6, and Moses, 4, with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, also admitted that she had to do more preparation for this role than any other she has played in her career.

She told In Style magazine: “I've never prepared for anything more in my life. It was a big responsibility. There was studying with an accent coach, learning to play guitar and, of course, the singing.”
