Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly following her popular 'Glee' singing performances with a new album.

The actress caught the attention of Warner Music-owned label Atlantic after her starring role in the American hit series plus her new movie 'Country Strong'.

The Oscar winner also sang live at the Grammys and the Oscars and has subsequently landed a £600,000 (€696,000) recording contract.

Paltrow has already had chart success abroad when two songs that she performed from her 2000 film 'Duets' went platinum in Australia.

However this will be the first time she has recorded an album and details have yet to be revealed as to the style of the music.
