The reunion of all five Take That members and their upcoming tour has been dealt a blow after Howard Donald sustained a leg injury.

According to The Sun, the 42-year-old singer was pictured on crutches in London earlier in the week and the paper reported that he had a protective cast around his lower left leg.

Apparently the singer injured his ankle during a gym work out and his injury comes just five days ahead of Take That's planned performance on this Sunday's X Factor.

The performance is due to be the first with all five band members in 15 years, following Robbie Williams return.

In 2007 Donald was forced to withdraw from Take That's 'Beautiful World Tour' when he suffered a collapsed lung after doing the splits during a dance routine.

However Take That bosses have said he will have his ankle support off in time for the band's X Factor performance this weekend.
