Ryan Tubridy's first guest of the new season on 'The Late Late Show' will be former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

It will be Blair's first live television interview since the publication of his autobiography 'A Journey' earlier this week.

Also on the show tonight are Munster rugby star Donncha O'Callaghan, former 'X Factor' stars Jedward and singer Imelda May.

Speaking about his first show of the season, Tubridy said: "We have a fantastic line-up for tonight’s show and I’m particularly pleased that Tony Blair will be my first guest of the season."

"He has been on my wish-list for some time and there is a huge amount to talk to him about, from his involvement in the Northern Ireland peace process to the war in Iraq."

"Plus we have a hugely eclectic mix of musicians from Jedward to Imelda May to some of the finest trad musicians in the country."

"It’s safe to say that there will be something for everyone on tonight’s show."

Watch 'The Late Late Show' tonight at 9.35pm on RTÉ One.
