It is reported that the upcoming 'Twilight' blockbuster 'Breaking Dawn' will be split into two films because of the length of the Stephenie Meyer book on which it is based.

Deadline Hollywood claims that filming on the back-to-back movies is set to begin in October.

The website reports that the company behind the 'Twilight' films, Summit Entertainment, is looking for a "high-end" director to direct both adventures.

However, when contacted by entertainment website ComingSoon.net, Summit said: "No decision has been made [on two films] and as we have said all along we are continuing to work with Stephenie Meyer to bring 'Breaking Dawn' to the big screen."
