UK children hate TV chef Jamie Oliver because of his healthy food campaigning, a survey has claimed to reveal.

School pupils across the UK were questioned for a Channel Five documentary, 'Being Ten,' about youngsters who have just reached double figures.

British newspaper The Daily Mail says the results revealed they hate the celebrity chef because he led the replacement of canteen food with healthy alternatives.

One said: "In our class, people don't like Jamie Oliver. They like unhealthy food. But they're not allowed ketchup and burgers and stuff like that."

Another added: "Last time in our school dinners it was the perfect experience we ever had. We got to eat hot dogs, burgers and sausages, but now Jamie Oliver is making the school dinners more healthy."
