American actor Don Johnson, best known for his role in 1980s cop series 'Miami Vice', is to join the cast of 'Guys and Dolls' in London's West End.
He will take over the role of Nathan Detroit from 'Dirty Dancing' star Patrick Swayze.
Swayze finishes his run on 4 December and Johnson will join the production on 7 January.
Before Johnson takes over, Nathan Detroit will be temporarily played by Alex Ferns, also known as 'EastEnders' villain Trevor Morgan.
Johnson actually started his career in musical theatre before finding fame on 'Miami Vice'.
The actor also had a recording career, releasing two albums and scoring a top 10 hit in the US with the single 'Heartbeat'.
Johnson's film credits include 'Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man', 'Paradise', 'Tin Cup' and 'Goodbye Lover'.
