Trevor White, editor of The Dubliner magazine, will launch his book, 'Kitchen Con', today.
White, whose entrée into the world of food came as a result of his parents owning acclaimed Dublin restaurant White's on the Green, also publishes bestselling restaurant guide, 'The Dubliner 100 Best Restaurants'.
Subtitled, "Writing on the restaurant racket", 'Kitchen Con' is an entertaining account of White's life as a restaurant critic.
It also gives an account of the social history of restaurant criticism, focuses on the rise of the celebrity chef and offers an expose of the restaurant business.
'Kitchen Con' is published by Mainstream Publishing.
