'X Factor' finalists 4Tune have hit out at the show's judges, claiming that they were kicked out of the show because of a personal vendetta between Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell.

The four Southampton lads exited the show on Saturday night following their performance of 'I'll Be There', after losing out on the public vote.

They were forced to sing again to compete with solo singer Chenai for the last play on next week's show, with judge Sharon Osbourne being left to cast the deciding vote after Walsh and Cowell voted to save their own acts.

Osbourne deliberated for several minutes before saying: "What do I do, break one person's heart or four people's hearts?" She then decided to save Chenai, who had been one of her acts on last year's show.

Speaking after the show, 4Tune member Anthony Hannides said: "I felt it was personal rather than about our performance."

His brother Mike also said: "It seems it's not based on talent this year. It's based on the judges."

According to reports, Cowell went home immediately after the decision was announced. This is the second of his final four acts to be booted off the show. Both Walsh and Osbourne still have four acts each.
