With their touring in support of their best-selling debut 'Hot Fuss' soon to draw to a close, Las Vegas band the Killers are turning their attentions to their second album.

Rolling Stone reports that the band have nearly a dozen songs to consider for inclusion and, according to frontman Brandon Flowers, plan to have the record in the shops "no later than June".

Among the new tracks are 'The Natural', 'Higher and Higher' and 'Where the White Boys Dance'.

The band plan to enter the studio in January, before which they will decide on a producer.
