Zach Braff and Amanda Peet are in negotiations to star in a new comedy called 'Fast Track'.

The Hollywood Reporter says the film tells the story of an under-achiever who is forced to take a job with his father-in-law when his wife becomes pregnant and quits her high-paying job.

Braff can currently be seen on Irish cinema screens in his directorial debut 'Garden State', while Peet was most recently seen in 'Melinda and Melinda'.

Principal photography on 'Fast Track' is due to begin in Los Angeles in July.
