11 years after the first movie, a sequel to the cross-dressing comedy hit 'Mrs Doubtfire' is on the way.

The Hollywood Reporter says that star Robin Williams is in early talks to reprise his role, with writer-actress Bonnie Hunt also in talks to pen the script.

'Mrs Doubtfire' took $219m at the US box office alone, with Williams winning a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical and the film taking the Best Make-up award at the Oscars.

In other Williams news, it has just been announced that the actor will receive the Cecil B DeMille Award at the Golden Globes on 16 January.
