REM guitarist Peter Buck joined Dublin band The Thrills onstage in London last night at a special benefit show.

REM were headlining the Make Trade Fair show at the Hammersmith Apollo, where the bill also included The Thrills, Razorlight, Jamelia, Minnie Driver and Ricky Gervais.

Buck joined The Thrills for the song 'The Curse of Comforts'; the guitarist also plays on the track on the band's new album 'Let's Bottle Bohemia'.

REM's set at the concert included 'Losing My Religion' and 'Bad Day' and new tracks 'Leaving New York' and 'Boy in the Well'.
