Kevin Smith is to make a sequel to his 1994 classic cult film 'Clerks'.

The Hollywood Reporter says that 'The Passion of the Clerks' was written by Smith for the stars of 'Clerks', Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson, and will also feature Jason Mewes and the director himself as Jay and Silent Bob.

The story follows the lives of the employees of the Quik Stop convenience store 10 years after 'Clerks'.

Filming on the movie is set to begin in January.
