The Libertines are due to release the first single from their new album on 13 August.
The British rockers have had a troubled recent history with guitarist Pete Doherty abandoning rehab and then being arrested for possession of an offensive weapon last week.
Their scheduled performance at this year's Glastonbury music festival also had to be cancelled.
'Can't Stand Me Now' will be the first release from their self-titled second album.
The single and album were both produced by Mick Jones (The Clash, Big Audio Dynamite) and engineered by Bill Price (Guns N' Roses, The Clash).
