One-man punk revelation, Hamell on Trial, is bringing his frenetic, vitriol infused show to these shores for a number of dates around the country.

His latest album, 'Tough Love' - with guest appearances by Ani DiFranco, Gary Lucas (Captain Beefheart, Jeff Buckley), Ernie Brooks (Modern Lovers), and Jonathan Kane (Swans) - was released last August.

The anti-folk singer, hailing from upstate New York, started several bands before grasping the appeal of autonomy and has since gained momentum, musical kudos and a sizeable fanbase.

Support on all Irish dates will be from acclaimed Dundalk gospel punk energy troubadour Jinx Lennon.

Lennon has spent several years in several short lived but powerful outfits including Silver Seeds, and the Novena Babes and has released two albums on his Septic Tiger imprint.
