Eric Clapton is coming to Dublin next April as part of his European tour.

Billboard reports that the guitar legend will play a show at the Point Theatre on 23 April with a concert at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on 24 April.

Clapton is one of the artists who can be heard on the George Harrison tribute album 'Concert for George', which is due out on 18 November.

He also appears with soul great Solomon Burke on the new album from Jools Holland, 'Small World Big Band Vol 3'; it is in stores on 17 November.
