Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' has topped the Irish singles chart for a fifth week running, making it Ireland's first Number One of 2003.

Girls Aloud, the girlband formed on the 'Popstars: The Rivals' television show in the UK, remained at two for a third week running with 'Sound of the Underground'.

Avril Lavigne's 'Sk8er Boi' rose from number four to three, leaving Blue featuring Elton John at number four with 'Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word'. Pink is at five with 'Family Portrait'.

In the UK, Girls Aloud remained at No 1 for a third consecutive week.

Eminem's new film, '8 Mile', is due for release in Ireland on 17 January.
