The second film in the Lord of the Rings trilogy is set for release in Ireland on 18 December.
'The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers' follows the three separate journeys of Hobbits Frodo and Sam as they venture deeper into enemy territory with Gollum as their guide; Merry and Pippin in the mysterious Fangorn Forest; and the human Aragorn, the Elf archer Legolas and Gimli the Dwarf in the besieged Rohan Kingdom.
Together they must stand against the gathering darkness emanating from Orthanc Tower in Isengard, where the corrupted wizard Saruman builds his lethal army and Sauron's fortress at Barad-dûr, deep within the dark lands of Mordor.
The Oscar winning first film, The Fellowship of the Ring, was released on 19 December last year and made $860 million worldwide.
Director Peter Jackson's trilogy represents an unprecedented undertaking - three films made simultaneously over a year and a half of production.
Cate Blanchett, Christopher Lee, Ian McKellen, John Rhys-Davies, Liv Tyler and Elijah Wood star.
