British band Suede will release a new album in September which is rumoured to have cost £1 million.

'A New Morning', the follow-up to 1999's 'Head Music', has seen one member quitting the band, has involved four producers and saw an entire album of songs abandoned.

"After two-and-a-half years it's all done, finally! It's very positive and upbeat lyrically. There are some slower, darker tracks but I think the overall mood of it is pretty up," Suede bassist Matt Osman told NME.com.

'A New Morning' will be preceded by a single in August.
