British band Coldplay say they may split after the release of their second album this summer.

The band have just finished recording on ‘A Rush Of Blood To The Head’, the follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut ‘Parachutes’, which was released in 2000.

Frontman Chris Martin says the record will be the band’s final curtain – because they won’t be able to better it.

“As far as I’m concerned this will be the last one we ever make. But I hope that one day we have some more songs, you know? We’ll only do another album if we think it’ll be better,” Martin told NME.com.
