Now in its seventh year, the MAMAs recognise the people, groups, companies, institutions and media platforms that promote diversity and multiculturalism in Ireland.

The MAMAs are being hosted by Ger Gilroy, presenter of Newstalk 106-108's Breakfast Show, and Shalini Sinha, well-known TV presenter and commentator on life issues and diversity. There are 10 separate awards across two categories: media and multicultural.

This year's awards include a special bursary of €5,000 from the Iris O'Brien Foundation to an individual or organisation which has positively responded to cultural diversity in Ireland.
