Ireland is now a rich tapestry of cultures from around the world

Over the last decade, Ireland’s identity has become a rich tapestry of cultural heritages from around the world.

People from far away places like China, the Philippines, Brazil and Nigeria are joining Europeans from countries like Poland, France and Spain and now call Ireland home.

In April, special programming on television, radio and RTÉ.ie featured dozens of stories from a wide variety of cultures.
