Ceoltronic Radio with Will Kinsella Thursday 10pm – 12 midnight Ceoltronic Radio is now in its fifth year of broadcasting and is RTÉ Pulse’s oldest continuous radio show. Beginning life on Raidio na Life in 2005 the programme made its way onto RTÉ Pulse in 2008. Ceoltronic is live every Thursday night from 10pm and is hosted by Will Kinsella who is a producer, resident DJ in Pygmalion, former POGO resident in the POD, Sound Engineer in Temple Lane Studios and the founder of the DIT DJ Society, which is now Ireland’s largest DJ Society, and the host to the annual All Ireland DJ Competition (Spin Off). Inspired to get into radio by bootleg recordings of the great Jeff ”The Wizard” Mills’ show on WJLB in the 80’s, Ceoltronic focuses on the traditional electronic music radio format. That is turntables, live mixing and a focus on good music. The message here is that the radio DJ should speak as loudly through his music and mixing as he does through his voice. Simple really. ”If its underground, House, Techno and its got soul then it belongs on the show. Flavour of the month doesn’t live here.”
