The Colour Chart

Saturdays at 11am (Repeated Tuesdays at 4pm)

Hi, I'm Colm and I'm presenting an exciting AND COLOURFUL show on RTE Junior.

It's a really interesting and fun show where we chat about everything you could possible think of when it comes to your favourite colour! So whether its the deep blue ocean or a shiny red fire truck, that yellow banana that you bring to school everyday or that green face you get when your feeling sick!, or maybe its that black cat that crossed your path last night while you were looking up at the twinkling white stars! Everything and anything you can think of that's connected with a colour could be on OUR show! We'll also have some short, fun poems and amazing facts to do with different colours read out by boys and girls from across the land! If that wasn't enough I'll throw in some colourful songs too!

So I suppose I should tell you my favourite colour?... OK, here's a few clues! If you were feeling a little sad, someone might say "Are

Colm

you feeling a little ......!".... If you were to stand on the moon and look at the Earth, most of the planet would be covered in this colour.... There's a certain famous Bear on television who lives in a BIG house that's painted this colour!.... YES, you've guessed it, my favourite colour is BLUE!!

So don't forget to pick your favourite colour and email me at junior@rte.ie with your ideas ! Tune into The Colour Chart on RTE Junior, every Saturday at 11am.

Klassical Kidz with Ian McGlynn

Sundays at 6pm (Repeated Thursdays at 6pm)

Klassical Kidz is a weekly fun classical music programme just for younger listeners.

Whether you're mad about Mozart, bonkers for Beethoven or gaga for Gershwin, then we have something to keep you tuned in. And if you don't know a piano from a piccolo, then this is just the place to find out everything about classical music you never knew! Klassical Kidz is made especially for you, where you can witness the excitement of Dukas' The Sorcerer's Apprentice, the magic of John Williams' Harry Potter theme, the beauty of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata or the fury of the Flight of the Bumblebee.
