Publications seized by the police since the Rebellion
The Dublin Provincial Newsagent, Booksellers and Stationers Association wrote to the Chief Secretary's Office in November 1916 asking what publications have been seized by police. The reply said it is only publications likely to cause disaffection. The list of seized publications includes 'The Murder Machine', 'Irish War News', 'Who fears to speak of Easter Week?' and letters and photos from the rebel leaders.
