Britain declares war on Bulgaria

London, 16 October 1915 - Britain last night declared war on Bulgaria. The statement read:


‘In view of the fact that Bulgaria has announced that she is at war with Serbia, and is an ally to the Central Powers, His Majesty’s Government have informed the Bulgarian government that a state of war exists between Great Britain and Bulgaria as from 10pm on 15 October 1915.’
