Tory opposition to Home Rule restated as conference comes to a close

The annual Tory conference has closed in Norwich today, and the closing stages of the event concentrated closely on Irish matters. A range of speakers denounced the Liberal passage of Home Rule, and demanded that the Bill be dispensed with. It was made clear that the party must support the efforts of the unionists to defeat Home Rule and oppose the Liberal party and Irish nationalists who had precipitated this whole crisis.
