Published: 22 April 1914

The inquiry into the Fethard Lifeboat disaster - which claimed the lives of nine lifeboat crew and one member of the crew of the Mexico schooner - was held today in Wexford Courthouse. The inquiry heard evidence from the five lifeboat members who survived the disaster. Many tributes were paid to the courage and dedication of those who had been lost in the disaster.
